Peel the garlic and crunch it with the parsley on a mortar and pestle until you form a green paste.
Cut the onion into small cubes.
If you are using frozen seafood, rinse it with fresh water and use a colander to remove the excess of water.
Turn on your stove to medium-high, Set the cooking pot on the stove. Pour the oil and heat it.
Add the onions once the oil is hot. Stir frequently
Once the onions are translucid, add the garlic and parsley paste.
Stir and fry for 2 minutes or until the garlic turns golden.
Add the can of dice tomatoes and wait until everything starts to boil
Add the seafood mix
Season with salt, pepper, paprika, Chicken Bouillon Powder, or half a chicken broth cube and a bay leaf.
Reduce the heat to medium and let it cook for about 10 minutes. Do not put a lid on the pot.
After 10 minutes, add the green peas and let your sauce cook for 5 more minutes until the sauce is thick and the calamari, is soft.
