Equipment

  • 1 oven

Ingredients

  • 10 hot dogs
  • 10 Hot dog buns
  • Toppings of your choice (ketchup, mustard, relish, onions

Instructions

  • preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). While waiting for the oven to reach the desired temperature, prepare your baking sheet.
  • Line it with aluminum foil or parchment paper, which helps with easy cleanup and better browning of the hot dogs.
  • Next, arrange the hot dogs on the baking sheet in a single layer with some space between them to ensure even cooking. Using a knife, make a shallow slit lengthwise down each hot dog. This creates a cradle for your favourite condiments and allows them to open slightly when roasted.
  • When the oven reaches the correct temperature, bake the hot dogs for 10-15 minutes or until they are heated through and lightly browned.
  • Once they are done, remove the hot dogs from the oven, place them in their buns, and add your desired toppings.
  • Now you’re ready to enjoy your delicious oven-baked hot dogs!
